What are the age requirements of Saxony Village?
Saxony Village now has a new, lower age requirement of 60 to become a resident and enjoy the variety of benefits that come with the retirement community lifestyle.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, Saxony Village allows pets for duplex residents. We have a new private dog park so you and your pet can enjoy unlimited leisure without needing to leave the safety and security of our campus.
Is the retirement community secure?
One of the nicest things about Saxony Village is that while you'll have all the privacy you want, you'll never be alone. We have personnel on duty around the clock to make sure you have assistance if you need it. Plus, each apartment and duplex is equipped with a signaling device in each bedroom and bathroom if you are unable to reach a phone.
Are there washer/dryer units in the apartments and duplexes?
Yes. Each residence includes your own washer and dryer, as well as other appliances such as microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and an electric range with hood.
What amenities are included?
As a resident of Saxony Village, you will have access to the retirement communities facilities, including a computer lab, library, fitness room with exercise pool and other common activity areas. We have a fulltime activities staff that plan and coordinate a variety of social-oriented group events, from bingo to card playing to movies and sight-seeing.
Is transportation included?
Saxony Village offers a mini-bus service to nearby shopping and healthcare providers.
What other benefits are included for residents?
Paid utilities, as well as water, sewer, refuse and property taxes. One main meal daily is provided, along with a free continental breakfast. You will also benefit from a twice-monthly cleaning service and landscaping/lawn maintenance.
